inWhen Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz entered ‘Ajmeer’. He and his companions first camped close to a lake called ‘AnaSaagar’. At that time, a Hindu ruler ruled ‘Ajmeer’. When he got to know of Khwaja Sahib’s arrival. He planned to chase them away. And so, after series of tortures, he ordered his army to stop Khwaja Sahib and his companions from taking the water of the ‘AnaSagar’. This was the only souce of water for them. When Khwaja Sahib was told about this, he ordered a fellow companion to take a empty bowl close to the lake and to say ‘ O AnaSaagar, Khwaja calls You! ‘. The companion did so and when he said it, the whole water of the lake came into that small boul. The whole lake went dry. People fell in trouble and went to the king complaining him of scarcity of water. The king was then forced to come to Khwaja Sahib and apologise. After he apoligised, khwaja sahib sent his companion with the same boul and ordered to put the water in the dry lake. When he did it, the whole lake was again full of water. This was the Karamat.
