Ya Sayyidi Irhamlana (salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

O Winds! If someday you pass by the sacred land,
do give my greetings at the blessed grave where the most exalted Prophet ﷺ rests.
He ﷺ whose blessed face is the midday sun,
His ﷺ blessed cheeks are the full moon,
He ﷺ whose self is the light of guidance and whose generosity is an ocean.

How to thank Allah subhanhu wa ta’ala

Oh Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala, as the great grandson of the Prophet (salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) Imām Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn (rahimahu Llah) says in his prayer of Thankfulness:

The most thankful of Thy servantshas not the capacity to thank Thee,
and the most worshipful of themfalls short of obeying Thee…

If people only knew what brilliant result lies in seeking knowledge, they would have definietely sought it, even by shedding blood of their hearts, and plunging into the depth of oceans

– Imam Zayn al-ʿĀbidīnn rahimahu Llah  –

Ya Allah, do not make me arrogant

Imām Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn rahimahu Llah recited this prayer when he learned of someone’s death or when he remembered death

Oh Allah, do not make me ‘arrogant’ that when I take a breath in I should expect for it to come out.

3 things can happen

When you make a Du’a, 3 things can happen:

  1. Allah accepts it straight away.
  2. Allah saves that request for later.
  3. Allah saves you from your own downfall.

– Imam Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn rahimahu Llah –

Friend and enemy

“Keep away from His enemies and do not make enemies with His friends.”
